Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking a Senior Value Engineer (Structural & Construction Focus) to drive cost optimization and value enhancement across its Advanced Nuclear portfolio, with near-term focus on the BWRX-300. You will lead cross-functional optimization efforts from concept through execution.

This role requires ~8 years in construction/estimation within nuclear, travel up to 10%, and base salary in a defined range with potential annual bonus. Relocation support is provided where needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Sciences.
• Minimum of 8 years of construction, estimating, and/or design engineering experience within the Nuclear Industry.

Responsibilities

• Leverage structural engineering and construction expertise to evaluate BWRX-300 systems, construction methodologies, and schedules.
• Develop cost-saving strategies through data analysis, parametric modeling, and innovative approaches to processes.
• Build robust business cases to support cost targets and facilitate project negotiations.
• Champion the value engineering process across Engineering, Sourcing, and Manufacturing.
• Manage project plans through ideation to value realization and conduct teardowns/should-cost analyses.
• Provide cost-based inputs for technical trade-off analyses and lead discussions at meetings.
