Job summary

Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) seeks a Senior National Service Officer-Appeals to advocate for alumni and dependents in VA benefits appeals. You’ll draft, edit, and manage complex appeals, advise on best options, and collaborate with Benefits Services and policy teams.

You will develop relationships with VA judges and Veterans Service Organizations while maintaining accreditation and completing required training. A mission-driven, collaborative environment awaits."

Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of laws and regs on Veterans benefits (38 USC & CFR).
• Extensive knowledge of the Appellate Process.
• Qualified to assist claimants before VA and advise on appeals.

Responsibilities

• Draft decisions for VLJ review.
• Manage appeals before BVA and ensure proper drafting/editing.
• Review medical and lay evidence for credibility.
