WSP USA is seeking a Senior Unexploded Ordnance (UXO) Supervisor to oversee field operations, ensure compliance with DoD requirements, and lead multiple UXO teams on remediation and clearance projects. Qualifications

• Meet the qualifications and perform the functions of UXO-TIII, UXOQCS, and UXOSO as defined in DoD Explosives Safety Board Technical Paper 18.
• Minimum 9 years of EOD/UXO experience, including significant experience performing munitions response actions and/or range clearance activities.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience overseeing UXO or related field operations.
• Current 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification with annual refreshers.
• Current 8-Hour HAZWOPER Supervisor Training certification.
• Demonstrated experience managing an Explosive Safety Program.
• Strong working knowledge of MEC, particularly UXO.
• Experience implementing and enforcing proper PPE requirements and health and safety procedures.
• Ability to travel and work in remote field environments as project needs require.
• Due to client requirements, US citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with DoD Military Service and/or DDESB-approved site plans.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise on-site munitions response activities and operational range clearance projects.
• Lead and supervise multiple UXO field teams, providing technical guidance and operational oversight.
• Review and evaluate daily field reports and project documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Assess risks associated with the movement of UXO or DMM within a MRS or operational range and provide approval for movement when risks are acceptable.
• Ensure protective works, equipment, and exclusion zone operations are conducted in accordance with applicable DoD policies, DDESB approvals, and health and safety regulations.
• Promote a strong safety culture and maintain compliance with site-specific health and safety plans.
• Support project managers and clients through effective communication, scheduling, and operational planning.
