Job summary

WSP is seeking a Senior UXO Supervisor to oversee field operations across DoD-compliant sites and multiple UXO teams. The role emphasizes safety, technical leadership, and regulatory adherence in munitions response and range clearance activities.

The candidate will manage complex field operations, ensure safety protocols, and coordinate with project managers and clients to meet objectives. Travel to remote sites is required, and US citizenship is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Minimum 9 years EOD/UXO experience including munitions response and/or range clearance.
• Minimum 5 years supervisory experience overseeing UXO or related field operations.
• Current 40-Hour HAZWOPER with annual refreshers.
• Current 8-Hour HAZWOPER Supervisor Training.
• Experience managing an Explosive Safety Program.
• Strong MEC/UXO knowledge.
• Ability to travel and work in remote field environments.
• US citizenship required due to client requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with DoD site plans and approved DDDSB plans.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise on-site munitions response activities and range clearance projects.
• Lead and supervise multiple UXO field teams with technical guidance and oversight.
• Review field reports and project documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Assess risks related to movement of UXO/DMM within MRS or ranges and approve movements when safe.
• Ensure protective works, PPE, exclusion zones in accordance with DoD, DDESB, and safety regulations.
• Support project managers and clients through effective communication, scheduling, and planning.
