Job summary

WSP seeks a Senior Unexploded Ordnance (UXO) Supervisor to oversee field operations, ensuring DoD compliance and leading UXO teams in remediation and clearance efforts. Qualifications

• Minimum 9 years of EOD/UXO experience.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory field operations experience.
• Current 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification with annual refreshers.
• Current 8-Hour HAZWOPER Supervisor Training certification.
• Experience managing an Explosive Safety Program.
• Strong knowledge of MEC/UXO and PPE health and safety procedures.
• Ability to travel to remote field environments; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with DoD Military Service and DDESB-approved site plans.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise on-site munitions response activities and range clearance projects.
• Lead and supervise multiple UXO field teams, providing technical guidance and oversight.
• Review and evaluate daily field reports and project documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Assess risks with movement of UXO/DMM within MRS or ranges and approve movements when safe.
• Ensure protective works, equipment, and exclusion zones meet DoD policies and safety regulations.
• Promote a strong safety culture and maintain site health and safety plans.
• Support project managers and clients through scheduling and planning.
