EBSCO Information Services is seeking a Senior User Experience Researcher to advance usability, accessibility, and scholarly effectiveness across our research platforms for higher education and library tools worldwide. This remote role welcomes candidates based in the United States and emphasizes evidence-based product improvements through end-to-end studies.

You will lead qualitative and quantitative research, translate findings into actionable insights, partner with design and product teams,

Competenze

• 5+ years of UX research experience in higher education, libraries, or related fields.
• Strong foundation in qualitative and quantitative research methods.
• Experience translating ambiguous problem spaces into clear research direction.
• Experience working in cross-functional product teams.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills.
• A diverse portfolio that demonstrates impact across complex problem spaces.

Mansioni

• Autonomously own end-to-end research including planning, designing, and conducting qualitative and quantitative user studies across the product lifecycle.
• Translate complex research findings into clear, actionable insights and recommendations.
• Partner with UX designers, product managers, and stakeholders to influence product direction and strategy.
• Advocate for user-centered design principles and research best practices across teams.
• Conduct usability testing, interviews, surveys, and field studies.
• Synthesize findings into clear, structured deliverables such as reports, personas, journey maps, and frameworks.
• Advocate for accessibility and equitable access to information in all research efforts.
