EBSCO Information Services is seeking a Senior User Experience Researcher to advance usability, accessibility, and scholarly effectiveness of our research platforms. You will design and lead studies informing product strategy for higher education and library tools worldwide, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

This is a remote position based in the U.S., requiring strong qualitative and quantitative methods and a 5+ year track record in UX research with a strong portfolio demonstrating

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in UX research, human-computer interaction, or a related field.
• Strong foundation in both qualitative and quantitative research methods.
• Experience translating ambiguous problem spaces into clear research direction.
• Experience working in cross-functional product teams.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills.
• A diverse portfolio that demonstrates impact across complex problem spaces.

Responsibilities

• Autonomously own end-to-end research across the product lifecycle.
• Translate complex research findings into clear, actionable insights and recommendations.
• Partner with UX designers, product managers, and stakeholders to influence product direction and strategy.
• Advocate for user-centered design principles and research best practices across teams.
• Conduct usability testing, interviews, surveys, and field studies.
• Synthesize findings into clear deliverables such as reports, personas, journey maps, and frameworks.
• Advocate for accessibility, inclusivity, and equitable access to information in all research efforts.
