EBSCO Information Services is seeking a Senior User Experience Researcher to advance usability, accessibility, and scholarly effectiveness across our research platforms. You will design and lead studies that inform product strategy for higher education and library tools worldwide.

This fully remote US-based role requires 5+ years in UX research, strong qualitative and quantitative skills, and the ability to translate complex findings into actionable guidance for cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of UX research experience in academia, libraries, or related settings.
• Strong qualitative and quantitative research foundations.
• Ability to translate ambiguous problems into clear research directions.
• Experience working in cross-functional product teams.
• Excellent storytelling and communication skills.
• Diverse portfolio showing impact across complex spaces.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end research from planning to study execution across the product lifecycle.
• Translate findings into clear, actionable insights and recommendations.
• Collaborate with UX designers, PMs, and stakeholders to shape product direction.
• Advocate for user-centered design and research best practices.
• Conduct usability tests, interviews, surveys, and field studies.
• Synthesize results into reports, personas, journey maps, and frameworks.
• Promote accessibility, inclusivity, and equitable information access.
