EBSCO Information Services (EBSCO) seeks a Senior User Experience Researcher to advance usability, accessibility, and scholarly effectiveness of our research platforms. This role focuses on understanding how students, faculty, librarians, and researchers engage with academic content, discovery systems, and digital research workflows.

You will design and lead research studies that inform product strategy and drive evidence-based improvements for higher education and library tools worldwide.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of UX research experience in higher education or library contexts.
• Strong foundation in qualitative and quantitative research methods.
• Experience translating research into product strategy and design.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end qualitative and quantitative UX research across the product lifecycle.
• Translate findings into actionable insights and recommendations.
• Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, and stakeholders to shape product direction.
• Advocate for user-centered design and research best practices.
• Conduct usability testing, interviews, surveys, and field studies.
• Create deliverables such as reports, personas, journey maps, and frameworks.
