Job summary

You will conduct primary research across surveys, interviews, usability tests, and workshops, translating insights into concrete recommendations for product and feature development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years’ related experience, or 9 years combined education/experience.
• Experience designing and conducting user research studies.
• Ability to apply design-thinking methodologies and research findings.
• Experience with accessibility standards and cross-platform UX issues.
• Strong written and verbal communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Establish and evolve a consistent research discipline to generate deep insights into user interactions with financial products.
• Drive definition and alignment of user problems across teams.
• Engage cross-functional teams through research education and ensure findings are implemented.
• Apply rigorous mixed-methods research across generative and evaluative studies.
• Mentor others conducting research and apply appropriate rigor.
• Guide design leads on prioritization decisions for research efforts.
• Utilize surveys, interviews, usability testing, heuristic evaluations, and more.
• Perform rigorous analysis with frameworks to reveal salient patterns.
• Collaborate with Market Research and analytics to align research efforts.
• Communicate results through storytelling to influence strategy.
