Job summary

Testing Site - JPMC in New York, NY is seeking an Experience Research Senior Associate to shape user experiences across our digital products and services. You will translate ambiguous product questions into clear research plans and deliver actionable insights that influence design and strategy.

You will conduct qualitative and quantitative studies, partner with Product, Design, Data Science and Analytics teams, and work with professional users in capital markets to ensure research informs

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in generative and evaluative user experience research.
• Proficiency in both qualitative and quantitative research methods, including interview and survey design, ethnography, and data analysis.
• Advanced knowledge of user experience design principles and practices.
• Understanding of how User Research fits into iterative product development and delivery.
• Ability to influence product strategy through insight-driven recommendations.
• Experience partnering with Data Science/Analytics teams.
• Comfort conducting research with professional/expert users across domains.
• Ability to balance speed and rigor, selecting methods appropriate to the decision and timeline.

Responsibilities

• Translate product questions into clear research questions and study plans
• Conduct and execute qualitative and quantitative research using methods such as interviews, ethnography, and surveys
• Independently lead evaluative research initiatives end-to-end: problem framing, data collection, synthesis, and recommendations
• Analyze and interpret data, identify patterns and trends, and provide actionable recommendations to inform product and design decisions that improve the user experience
• Communicate research results effectively so insights land with diverse audiences across levels of seniority
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate user insights into product development and iterative delivery processes
• Stay current with industry trends and incorporate relevant learnings into team insights
• Literacy and interest in capital markets
• Experience driving research adoption and measurable organizational impact
• Demonstrated ability to improve and scale research efficiency through thoughtful adoption of new tools and methods
