HealthEquity is seeking a Senior UX Designer to lead the Marketplace Experience, designing intuitive, trustworthy commerce journeys for members to discover, evaluate, purchase, and manage healthcare products and services. The role blends human-centered design with marketplace UX, analytics, and AI-assisted tools to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• 6 to 8+ years of experience designing customer-facing digital products.
• Experience designing marketplace or e-commerce experiences preferred.
• Ability to translate complex product requirements into clear interaction models and scalable UI.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end marketplace experiences across mobile and web, including discovery, search, checkout, onboarding, and post-purchase journeys.
• Translate business strategy into intuitive interaction models, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Research, Content Design, Analytics, and stakeholders to deliver exceptional customer experiences that drive value and outcomes.
• Use customer research, analytics, and experimentation to identify friction and improve acquisition, conversion, engagement, retention, and satisfaction.
• Design scalable UX patterns supporting merchandising, personalization, product recommendations, and lifecycle experiences.
• Design experiences that simplify complex healthcare and financial decisions while building trust and confidence.
• Advocate for accessibility, usability, and experience quality from discovery to implementation.
• Leverage AI-enabled tools to accelerate ideation, prototyping, and design exploration.
• Collaborate with engineering to ensure design intent is preserved through implementation and iterate based on feedback.
