Job summary
Leidos is seeking a senior UX designer to support the SSA in Woodlawn, Maryland. You will derive business processes, analyze user needs, and help define requirements to design browser-based interfaces and conduct usability testing.
The role focuses on user research, design thinking, accessibility (Section 508), and collaboration within an Agile environment. Experience with Axure/Figma and strong front-end familiarity are a plus.
Qualifications
- 8+ years direct Interaction/Interface design in User-Centered Methods and User Analysis.
- Experience documenting user requirements, screen designs, and design recommendations.
- Experience conducting formative usability tests in formal and informal settings.
- Must have prior SSA experience.
Responsibilities
- Derive business processes, analyze user needs, assist in requirements definition, design browser-based interfaces, and conduct usability testing.
- Elicit business goals and user needs from stakeholders.
- Facilitate customer discovery sessions.
- Create Conceptual Models, Journey Maps, Personas and Scenarios of Use.
- Create and refine screen prototypes.
