Job summary

CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) seeks a Senior UI/UX Designer to join our IT team supporting a large federal agency. You will lead UX strategy, conduct research, and design accessible web and mobile interfaces that meet USWDS and 508 standards.

You will coordinate across multiple clients and teams in a fast-paced environment, mentor junior designers, and deliver high-fidelity UI mockups from wireframes to deployment, while maintaining rigorous quality and user-centered documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in design or related field; strong portfolio.
• 10+ years of design experience across web and mobile.
• Experience with accessibility standards 508 and USWDS.
• Ability to lead multiple projects in fast-paced federal environment.
• Strong research-driven design decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-scale UX design efforts including research and blueprinting.
• Plan, design, and implement multiple sites and apps for several clients.
• Lead user research to inform usable web and app interfaces.
• Collaborate with engineers and clients to define innovative, intuitive solutions.
• Create wireframes, storyboards, and site maps to communicate ideas.
• Develop scalable design resources for project collaboration.
