Job summary

CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) is seeking a Senior UI/UX Designer to join our Information Technology team in support of a large federal agency initiative. You will lead end-to-end UX design across multiple sites and applications, guiding research, wireframing, and interaction design to deliver accessible, USWDS‑compliant solutions.

The role requires a strong portfolio, 10+ years of design experience, and the ability to obtain a Public Trust.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Must be able to obtain a Public Trust.
• Strong UX design experience with 10+ years of design work.
• Portfolio demonstrating research-driven design for responsive web and mobile apps.
• Experience applying user research, personas, and flows to design decisions.
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality UI from wireframes to final visuals.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-scale UX design efforts including research, blueprinting, and evaluating existing systems.
• Plan, design, and implement multiple sites and apps across clients in fast-paced environments.
• Lead all phases of user research to inform usable interfaces and interactions.
• Collaborate with federal engineers and clients to deliver innovative, accessible solutions.
• Create wireframes, storyboards, site maps communicating interaction ideas.
• Develop scalable design resources to support project collaboration.
