Job summary

CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) seeks a Senior UI/UX Designer to lead multi-site UX efforts for a large Federal agency initiative. The role demands 10+ years of UX/UI experience, strong research skills, and the ability to translate requirements into usable web/mobile interfaces.

You will collaborate with federal clients and engineers to deliver intuitive, accessible solutions while mentoring junior designers and advancing 508/USWDS-compliant designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Public Trust eligibility required.
• 10+ years in UX/UI design.
• Strong online portfolio with research-driven design for responsive web and mobile.
• Experience with user research methodologies and UX frameworks.
• Knowledge of 508 and USWDS standards.
• Ability to lead end-to-end design from discovery to delivery.
• Experience mentoring junior designers.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-scale UX design across sites and applications.
• Plan, design, and implement multi-client projects in fast-paced settings.
• Lead user research to inform interaction design decisions.
• Create wireframes, storyboards, and site maps for communication of ideas.
• Collaborate with federal engineers and clients to deliver intuitive solutions.
• Mentor junior designers and contribute to team growth.
