Job summary

CGS is seeking a Senior UI/UX Designer to join our Information Technology team supporting federal initiatives. The role emphasizes leading UX design across multiple sites and clients, conducting research, and delivering UI assets from wireframes to high-fidelity designs.

You will collaborate with engineers and federal stakeholders, create scalable design resources, and mentor junior designers in a fast-paced environment. A strong portfolio and 508/USWDS experience are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree required.
Public Trust eligibility required.
10+ years in UX/UI design and related fields.
Strong portfolio with research-driven design decisions for web and mobile.
Experience applying 508 and USWDS standards.
Ability to deliver wireframes through final high-fidelity UI assets.
Mentor junior designers and lead design initiatives.

Responsibilities

Lead full-scale UX design efforts including research, blueprinting, and evaluation of existing systems.
Plan, design, and implement multiple sites and apps across clients in fast-paced environments.
Lead user research to inform usable web pages and interfaces.
Collaborate with engineers and federal clients to craft innovative, intuitive solutions.
Create wireframes, storyboards, and site maps to communicate ideas.
