Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior UX Designer for AI-native tools within the Enterprise Engineering ecosystem. You will own design end-to-end for AI-powered tools used across Amazon, crafting new interaction patterns and a design system that scales with AI advances.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of UX designer or interaction designer experience.
• Online portfolio or samples demonstrating end-to-end, user-centered design across desktop and mobile.
• 1+ years of working with or evaluating AI systems.
• Experience presenting to senior leaders outside of design.
• Deep experience architecting design systems (tokens, components, patterns, documentation).
• Proficiency in code-based prototyping (HTML/CSS/JS) or AI-assisted development tools.
• Technical understanding of LLMs and how they inform product design decisions.
• Degree in Design, HCI, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Responsibilities

• Own product design end to end for AI-native tools used across Amazon.
• Invent interaction patterns without a playbook; direct agents, trust, and collaboration.
• Prototype in code, AI-assisted dev tools, and rapid user testing.
• Build a new design system using AI and extract tokens, components, and patterns as ships.
• Set product direction with PMs, engineers, AI specialists, and customers.
• Present design work and influence product direction with stakeholders and leadership.
• Ship, observe usage, iterate.
