Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Seattle is seeking a Senior UX Designer to own product design end to end for AI-native tools used across Amazon. You'll work with engineers, PMs, AI specialists, researchers, and customers to define how Amazonians experience their daily tools.

You are AI-native in your approach—design for evolving model capabilities and prototype in code rather than relying on decks. You enjoy fuzzy problems, uncharted patterns, and big upside.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of UX or interaction design experience.
• Online portfolio or work samples demonstrating end-to-end design solutions.
• 1+ years working with or evaluating AI systems.
• Experience presenting to senior leaders outside of design.
• Deep experience architecting design systems and documentation.
• Proficiency in code-based prototyping (HTML/CSS/JS) or AI tools.
• Technical understanding of LLMs informing product design decisions.
• Degree in Design, HCI, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Responsibilities

• Own product design end to end for AI-native tools across Amazon.
• Invent interaction patterns without playbooks; guide trust and collaboration with agents.
• Prototype in code (HTML/CSS/JS) and AI-assisted dev tools for real-user demos.
• Build a design system using AI-derived tokens, components and patterns.
• Set product direction with PMs, engineers, AI specialists, and customers.
• Present design work and influence product decisions with leadership.
• Ship it, observe usage, iterate and improve.
