Job summary

Global Payments seeks a Lead UX Designer to own the user experience strategy and design for a flagship commerce platform. You will define the experience vision across mobile, web, kiosk, and POS, collaborating with Product Management and Engineering to deliver cohesive, customer-centric designs.

You will develop personas, journeys, and design systems, champion accessibility, and mentor teams to mature UX within the product lifecycle. This role offers global impact and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of UX, Product Design, or related experience.
• Experience designing customer-facing digital experiences across mobile and web.
• Experience partnering with Product Management and Engineering teams.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design work.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the user experience vision across mobile, web, kiosk, and point-of-sale experiences.
• Lead user-centered design efforts from discovery through delivery with PM and Engineering.
• Own personas, journey maps, experience frameworks, and interaction models.
• Establish and evolve scalable design systems, component libraries, and reusable design patterns.
• Partner with Engineering to translate designs into high-quality experiences.
• Conduct and oversee user research activities, including usability testing and customer interviews.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity designs.
• Champion accessibility, usability, and modern UX best practices within the PDLC.
• Act as a UX advocate to drive modernization and influence product direction.
