Job summary

JPMorganChase in Chicago and Brooklyn seeks a UX Creative Technologist Senior Associate to blend design, engineering, and AI in a code‑first environment for financial services products.

You will design and ship AI-native design systems, prototype front‑end interfaces, and collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver accessible, scalable experiences for customers across web and mobile.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a user experience design or equivalent role dedicated to improving digital product experiences.
• Familiarity with Git-based workflows and collaborative repositories.
• Expert using Figma and FigJam, with fluency across VS Code, modern front-end frameworks, and AI coding tools.
• Experience designing across web, mobile, and other digital channels.
• Prototyping and discovery across AI initiatives using VS Code, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, and similar AI tooling.

Responsibilities

• Conduct data-driven analyses to inform design decisions and transform data into insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to apply inclusive design and accessibility principles.
• Iterate with user feedback to continually improve the user experience.
• Diagram service flows, design wireframes, and prototype interactions for key touchpoints.
• Build front-end interfaces and production-quality code for reuse by other teams.
• Contribute to an AI-native design system end-to-end — foundations, tokens, components, and docs.
• Design and ship AI agents and automations to make systems generative and self-improving.
• Establish middle-layer connections and APIs linking the design system to products.
• Create coded prototypes to validate ideas before shipping.
