Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a UX AI Designer to shape intuitive AI experiences across enterprise systems and workflows. You will lead UX strategy for AI-enabled products, partnering with AI architects, engineers, data teams, and business stakeholders to translate complex AI capabilities into usable interfaces.

The role emphasizes explainability, governance, and adoption, with responsibilities spanning user research, journey mapping, wireframes, prototypes, and design systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in UX design or related field is required.
• Master’s degree in HCI, design strategy, AI interaction design, or related discipline preferred.
• Seven years of UX/product design experience, with at least three years supporting AI-enabled products or enterprise platforms.
• Experience designing for Generative AI, conversational AI, copilots, and workflow automation.
• Experience in complex corporate environments with cross-functional teams.
• Equivalent combo of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead UX strategy and design for AI-enabled products and workflows.
• Design Generative AI platforms and chat-based interfaces.
• Collaborate with AI architects, engineers, and stakeholders.
• Develop user journeys, personas, service blueprints, and prototypes.
• Create conversational prompts and escalation paths.
• Ensure explainable, trustworthy, and adoptable AI experiences.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and journey mapping.
• Partner with data and platform teams to ensure accurate context.
• Support governance experiences and design standards.
• Provide design guidance and thought leadership.
• Travel as required.
