Responsibilities

• Design and optimize enterprise WAN/LAN, MPLS, fiber, microwave, and backhaul for grid/enterprise.
• Engineer, maintain, and troubleshoot mobile radio systems (VHF/UHF, P25, DMR).
• Deploy and maintain P2P links for substation backhaul, SCADA, and telemetry.
• Implement BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, ACLs, and QoS across Cisco platforms.
• Ensure VPN, MACsec, 802.1X, and CIP-aligned security controls.
• Support DWDM, SONET, and high-capacity backhaul services.
• Monitor uptime with SNMP and analytics; produce documentation.
