Job summary
ROCHESTER GAS & ELEC CORP in Rochester, NY seeks an experienced engineer to design and configure protection, control, and automation subsystems for the electric delivery network. You will lead relay settings design, coordination, and NERC compliance programs, coordinating with contractors and participating in audits to ensure faultless protection schemes.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or technology.
- Registered Professional Engineer or eligibility for certification.
- Minimum 5 years of engineering experience.
- Experience with protection systems and relay programming tools.
Responsibilities
- Perform relay settings design and coordination analysis for protection systems.
- Lead contractors and consultants on protection system settings for capital projects.
- Analyze disturbance events and deliver fault analysis reports with actionable recommendations.
- Lead NERC compliance programs applicable to substation assets and audits.
- Review large customer interconnections and DER interconnections to substations.
