Job summary

Surveying And Mapping, LLC is seeking a Utility Coordinator Manager in Atlanta, GA to lead the Utility Coordination Team within the Subsurface Utility Engineering group. The role reports to the SUE Department Manager and collaborates with engineers, project managers, and technicians on utility coordination and related inspection tasks.

Candidates should have 10+ years in utility coordination, strong communication/negotiation skills, and supervisory experience.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience as a utility coordinator on DOT or utility company projects.
10+ years' experience drafting agreements for relocating utilities per regulatory processes.
Experience providing Utility Coordination for Design-Build projects.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
10+ years' supervisory experience of projects and personnel preferred.
Professional Engineer license a plus.
State DOT pre-certifications to function as Utility Coordination lead.

Responsibilities

Trains, manages and guides the Utility Coordination Team in all utility coordination aspects.
Maintains existing clients and conducts business development activities.
Develops scope and fee proposals for assigned projects.
Oversees utility adjustment coordination for roadway and utility improvements.
Manages client invoicing and accounts receivable, ensuring DL goals are met.
