Job summary

SAM, a nationwide geospatial leader, seeks a seasoned Utility Coordination Team Leader to guide SUE and Utility Inspection support. Lead a skilled team, coordinate utility processes, and drive client success on diverse projects.

You will oversee coordination activities, develop proposals, maintain client relationships, and help SAM achieve its strategic goals through strong leadership and expertise.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience as utility coordinator on state DOT projects or similar utility company work.
10+ years’ experience preparing agreements for relocating utilities per local/state/federal processes.
Proven strong communication and negotiation skills.
10+ years’ supervisory experience of projects and personnel preferred.
Professional Engineer license a plus.
State DOT pre-certifications to function as a Utility Coordination lead.

Responsibilities

Trains, manages and guides the Utility Coordination Team.
Maintains existing clients and performs business development.
Develops scope and fee proposals for assigned projects.
Oversees utility adjustment coordination for roadway/utility improvements.
Handles client invoicing and AR, ensures DL goals are met.
Performs other tasks to support SAM’s strategic goals.
