Job summary

Omaha Public Power District is seeking a Manager, Construction and Maintenance to oversee daily maintenance, construction, and service restoration for generating units and overhead/underground T&D systems. You will lead an inclusive, high-performing team, ensure effective resource planning, strengthen stakeholder relationships, and drive safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Demonstrated leadership overseeing construction, maintenance, or utility field operations.
Ability to develop and support an inclusive, high-performing team culture.
Strong knowledge of utility generation, transmission, and distribution systems.
Comprehensive understanding of safety practices, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
Proven capability in operational planning, resource management, and decision-making during critical events.
Strong communication with customers, community partners, and internal stakeholders.
