Opportunity Profile

The Manager, Construction and Maintenance, oversees daily maintenance, construction, and service restoration for OPPD¿s generating units and T&D systems. This role leads an inclusive, high-performing team, ensures effective resource planning, strengthens stakeholder relationships, and drives continuous improvement to enhance safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction.

Leadership: Leads with integrity and accountability to build a high-performing, inclusive team aligned with OPPD¿s values and strategic vision. Fosters a people-first culture by attracting and developing talent, setting clear expectations, and creating an environment where employees feel supported, empowered, and equipped to grow and succeed. Establish and monitor key measures to assess staff and department success.

Strategic Execution: Develops and implements short- and mid-term plans to achieve OPPD and divisional objectives. Aligns staffing, resources, and facility operations to support safe, reliable, and cost-effective service generation and delivery.

Field Operations Oversight: Manages daily maintenance and construction activities for OPPD Generating Units and overhead/underground T&D systems. Leads service restoration efforts, ensuring crew readiness, material availability, and public and employee safety. Manages day-to-day activities in OPPD generating units with a focus on maintaining critical assets to improve reliability.

Stakeholder Engagement: Builds strong relationships with customers, community representatives, and internal partners. Resolves service and construction concerns while enhancing OPPD¿s public presence.

Process Optimization: Drives continuous improvement through cross-functional collaboration, performance monitoring, asset and project management. Uses data insights to improve safety, productivity, and customer satisfaction.

Salary/Wage Info

Min: $146,099

Mid: $182,624
