Job summary

Nowges seeks a User Support Engineer to join the DISA Headquarters team at Fort Meade, MD, delivering end-user computing solutions and architectures to meet mission requirements. You will partner with the End User Services group to analyze needs, design solutions, and implement deployments across devices and platforms.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), 5+ years of systems engineering, 7+ years in end-user computing, and an IAT Level II certification prior to starting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or a combination of technical training, certifications, and experience.
• 5+ Years of Systems engineering design and operations experience.
• 7+ Years experience with configuring, securing, and troubleshooting end-user computing devices.
• IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE or DoD 8570 baseline) required before start.

Responsibilities

• Supports system integration, evaluation, site surveys, and risk analysis for total systems and architectures.
• Conducts research and analysis to support strategic implementation plans and designs.
• Collaborates with vendors and groups (R&D, Server/Network) to leverage emerging technology.
• Performs engineering analysis to resolve issues using engineering principles.
• Documents security and accreditation posture and maintains compliance.
• Develops implementation plans, SOPs, schedules, and related artifacts.
• Supports desktop imaging and SCCM/MECM/Intune deployment activities.
