Job summary

You will serve as the US payroll subject matter expert, collaborating with HR, Finance, Benefits and HRIS to ensure data integrity and compliance. This role requires a strong knowledge of federal, state and local payroll taxes, experience with multi-state payroll and a proactive approach to process improvements, audits, and year-end filings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience with multi-state payroll.
• Minimum 2 years supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll taxes.
• Experience with UKG or similar SaaS HRIS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll for multiple US pay groups and provide processing back-up for other groups as required.
• Act as a US Payroll subject matter expert and resource to other team members.
• Payroll validation, auditing, and reconciliation.
• Extensive knowledge of the US payroll function, including preparation, balancing, internal controls, and payroll taxes.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.
• Prepare and review all quarterly and year-end filings.
