Job summary

Dow Inc. seeks an experienced Natural Gas Trader to manage a large commodities portfolio focused on US natural gas. You will develop trading and hedging strategies, execute derivative trades, and identify arbitrage opportunities while maintaining strict risk controls.

The role requires a quantitative bachelor's degree, 7+ years experience, and willingness to travel. Relocation assistance is not provided, and US work authorization is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or equivalent military experience allowed.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant working experience.
• Willing to travel as required for this role.
• U.S. work authorization required; no visa sponsorship for this position.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute trading and hedging strategies in gas-related markets.
• Generate consistent trading profit within approved risk parameters.
• Execute transactions using futures, swaps, options, and other derivatives.
• Identify arbitrage opportunities across regions and products.
• Build and maintain relationships with traders, producers, consumers, brokers and banks.
• Support market research for senior management with pricing forecasts and trading ideas.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, risk, and governance requirements.
