Job summary

Dow is seeking an experienced Natural Gas Trader to lead trading and hedging strategies focused on US natural gas markets. You will manage a substantial commodity portfolio, identify market opportunities, and execute trades using futures, swaps and options.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in a quantitative field and at least seven years of experience, with willingness to travel and support during off-hours, while complying with all regulatory and governance standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in a quantitative field or equivalent military experience.
7+ years of relevant experience.
Willing to travel as required.
Ability to work off-hours during weather events or emergencies.
US work authorization; no visa sponsorship provided.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute trading and hedging strategies in gas related markets.
Generate consistent trading profit within approved risk parameters.
Execute transactions using futures, swaps, options, and other derivatives.
Identify arbitrage opportunities and market dislocations across regions and products.
Build relationships with traders, producers, consumers, refiners, brokers and banks.
Support market research and trading recommendations for senior management.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and governance requirements.
