Job summary
Dow Inc. in Houston, TX seeks an experienced Natural Gas Trader to join our Feedstocks and Commodities organization. You will manage a large global portfolio focusing on US natural gas, seeking market opportunities and executing trading and hedging strategies.
The role requires deep experience in natural gas, NGLs, crude oil or related markets, strong risk management, and a track record of delivering profit within risk parameters. Travel and off-hour support may be required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent.
- 7+ years of relevant experience in commodity trading or energy markets.
- Willingness to travel and support sites during off hours, including weather-related emergencies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute trading and hedging strategies in gas-related markets.
- Generate trading profit within approved risk parameters.
- Execute transactions using futures, swaps, options, and other derivatives.
- Identify arbitrage opportunities and market dislocations.
- Build and maintain relationships with market participants and teams.
- Support market views, pricing forecasts, and trading recommendations for leadership.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, risk, and governance requirements.
