Job summary

Dow Inc. is seeking an experienced Natural Gas Trader to manage a large commodities portfolio focused on US natural gas. The role involves developing strategies, executing trades, managing risk, and delivering consistent performance in dynamic markets.

The position requires a bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or equivalent military experience, at least 7 years of experience, and the ability to travel as needed. Relocation assistance is not provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or relevant military experience.
• 7+ years of relevant working experience.
• Ability to work legally in the United States; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute trading and hedging strategies in gas related markets.
• Generate consistent trading profit and derivative results within approved risk parameters.
• Execute transactions using futures, swaps, options, and other commodity derivatives.
• Identify arbitrage opportunities and market dislocations across regions, products, and time structures.
• Build and maintain relationships with traders, producers, consumers, refiners, marketers, brokers, exchanges, banks, and other market participants.
• Support the research team on development of market views, pricing forecasts, and trading recommendations for senior management.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory, risk, and governance requirements.
