Job summary
Dow seeks an experienced Natural Gas Trader to join the Feedstocks and Commodities team in Houston, TX. You will manage a mid-nine-figure portfolio, identify market opportunities, and execute trading and hedging strategies in US natural gas and related markets.
You will collaborate with researchers and traders, ensure risk controls, and deliver consistent performance in volatile markets. A quantitative degree or equivalent military experience is required, with 7+ years of experience and travel
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or relevant military experience.
- 7+ years of relevant trading experience.
- Willingness to travel and respond to emergencies as needed.
- U.S. work authorization required; no visa sponsorship available.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute trading and hedging strategies in gas markets.
- Generate trading profits within approved risk parameters.
- Execute transactions using futures, swaps, options and other derivatives.
- Identify arbitrage opportunities across regions and structures.
- Maintain relationships with market participants and support research with market views.
