Job summary

Dow has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Natural Gas Trader to join our Feedstocks and Commodities organization in Houston, TX. You will manage a mid-nine-figure commodities portfolio with a focus on US natural gas, executing trading and hedging strategies while managing risk.

The role requires at least 7 years of relevant experience, a quantitative degree, willingness to travel, and legal work authorization in the United States. Relocation assistance is not mentioned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field preferred.
• At least 7 years of relevant experience.
• Willing and able to travel as required.
• US work authorization required; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute trading and hedging strategies in gas related markets.
• Generate consistent trading profit and derivatives results within risk parameters.
• Execute transactions using futures, swaps, options and other derivatives.
• Identify arbitrage opportunities and market dislocations across regions and time structures.
• Build and maintain relationships with traders, producers, consumers, refiners, marketers and banks.
