Job summary

Indiana University Health is seeking a Practice Administrator to lead a portfolio of urgent care clinics. This role focuses on developing teams, driving operational excellence, and improving the patient and team member experience through strong onsite leadership and strategic prioritization.

The successful candidate will oversee day-to-day operations across multiple locations in Indiana, with regular travel and weekly clinic rounding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
• MHA or MBA preferred.
• 7–10 years of progressive healthcare leadership experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of leadership in ambulatory/outpatient settings, including 3–5 years managing physician practice operations.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare operations, financial management, regulatory requirements, and healthcare legislation.
• Experience utilizing benchmarking data to drive operational improvement.
• Proficient with healthcare technology systems and business applications.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations and strategic priorities across multiple urgent care locations.
• Build strong clinic leadership and drive operational excellence.
• Ensure high-quality care, service excellence, and employee engagement.
• Travel among Avon, Brownsburg, Lafayette sites with weekly onsite rounding.
• Maintain visibility with clinic leaders, providers, and team members.
