Job summary

tobspr Games is seeking a Senior Unreal Engine C++ Generalist to help build our next factory game in Unreal Engine 5. You will shape gameplay systems, editor tooling, UI, and the build pipeline, collaborating with design and art teams.

You’ll join early on as a key engineer, shipping features end to end, building tools for designers, and contributing to a robust CI/CD workflow to keep the project healthy and evolving.

Qualifications

• Professional C++ experience in Unreal Engine, shipping features or tools relied on by designers and other engineers.
• Experience across several areas of an Unreal Engine game and quickly picking up unfamiliar parts of the engine.

Responsibilities

• Build gameplay features with design, from the first design document to release.
• Write editor tools and workflows for designers and artists, and keep them working as the game grows.
• Find and fix bugs and performance problems anywhere in the codebase.
• Keep the build, test and review process healthy.
• Give technical input while designs are still being shaped.
• Improve the team’s knowledge of Unreal Engine quirks, tools, and features.
