Job summary

Virtuos is seeking an experienced C++ engineer to design and implement robust tools and gameplay systems for PC/Console titles using Unreal Engine. You will translate feature specs into modular tools and contribute to scalable, high-performance codebases.

The role requires strong C++ fundamentals, experience with UE4/UE5, and proficiency in Blueprints, debugging and version control. You will work with remote teams and cross-functional partners to deliver polished features.

Qualifications

• 4+ years experience in development of C++ PC/Console titles.
• 2+ years experience with Unreal Engine.
• Strong C++ fundamentals: memory management, multithreading, debugging.
• Familiarity with Unreal Engine tooling, UI programming and pipeline automation.
• Proven experience with version control (Git, Perforce) and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust tools, algorithms and pipelines using UE Procedural Content Generation, C++, Blueprints.
• Collaborate with Game Designers to translate feature specs into modular, reusable tools and gameplay systems.
• Maintain clean and scalable codebases - refactor, debug, and optimize performance.
• Take ownership of features and deliver through delivery and polish phases.
