Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Manager - University to lead the university recruiting team and align strategies with the infrastructure business. You will guide recruiting for engineering, construction, and operational roles across the enterprise, partnering with executives to drive workforce plans and a superior candidate experience.

This role can be based in Lenexa, KS or remote, with international scope across the US, Canada, and Mexico, and requires a strong track record in

Qualifications

• Over 10 years of full-cycle recruiting experience with a focus on early career and internships.
• At least 5 years in recruiting leadership with team coaching and development.
• Deep knowledge of engineering, construction, or related industrial markets.
• Proven ability to partner with senior executives and influence recruiting decisions.
• Strong candidate assessment skills and adept at stakeholder management.
• Experience with ATS, analytics platforms, and modern sourcing tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor university recruiting professionals across a broad requisition portfolio.
• Support recruiters in end-to-end recruitment processes from sourcing to offer negotiations.
• Shape recruiting strategies for engineering, project management, construction, estimating, procurement, and project controls.
• Collaborate with HR partners and business leaders to anticipate workforce needs.
• Monitor recruitment metrics and continuously improve time-to-hire and candidate experience.
• Serve as a strategic Talent Acquisition advisor to executives and leaders.
