Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking a Payroll Consultant to support complex payroll operations across a multi-state workforce, with a focus on union payroll, compliance, and high-volume processing. You will collaborate with HR, Finance, and Operations to ensure accurate and timely payroll while adhering to federal, state, and union regulations.

The role involves processing multi-state payroll, handling union payroll, and using leading platforms like ADP, Workday, UKG, Ceridian, or Paycom.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of payroll processing experience.
• Multi-state payroll experience required.
• Union payroll experience required.
• Strong understanding of payroll tax regulations.
• Experience processing high-volume payroll accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly, bi-weekly, and semi-monthly payroll for employees across multiple states.
• Administer and review union payroll in accordance with collective bargaining agreements.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.
• Manage payroll deductions, garnishments, benefits, and voluntary withholdings.
• Review and audit timekeeping records for accuracy prior to payroll processing.
• Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee payroll inquiries.
