Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT, CS, telecom, or engineering.
• 8+ years in telecom/UC or voice network engineering.
• Hands-on design, config and support of enterprise UC/telephony (Cisco, Teams Phone, Avaya).
• Experience in secure federal/regulatory environments with security/change mgmt.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to draft technical docs.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain UC solutions across on‑premise and cloud.
• Monitor UC networks, analyze KPIs, identify bottlenecks and degradation.
• Troubleshoot, perform root-cause analysis and remediation for UC incidents.
• Develop standards, runbooks, and configuration baselines for UC platforms.
• Collaborate with network, security, infra, and service desk teams for changes and migrations.
• Produce reports and recommendations for capacity and performance improvements.
• Provide training and guidance to customers and internal teams on UC capabilities.
• Support compliance with federal security, privacy, and records requirements.
