Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent; insurance coursework/designations preferred.
• At least four years of insurance operations or underwriting support experience.
• Knowledge of Personal/Commercial Lines policy processing.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and underwriting systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform all responsibilities of the Underwriting Service Associate.
• Process complex underwriting support transactions for Commercial Lines.
• Review and process new business, renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and related policy transactions.
• Analyze transactions requiring knowledge of products, workflows, and systems.
• Handle complex service requests with minimal supervision.
• Order and review motor vehicle reports and related documentation.
• Support agency inquiries, issue resolution, and escalations.
• Serve as a resource for peers regarding workflows and system functionality.
• Assist with training, onboarding, and knowledge sharing.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and support quality initiatives.
