Job summary

CVS Health's Meritain Health unit seeks a Senior Manager of Underwriting to lead a team of underwriters and drive risk assessment, pricing strategy, and client support.

You will mentor staff, oversee quotes and financial projections, and partner with Sales, Client Management and other stakeholders to win and retain business. A Bachelor's degree and solid Excel/Office expertise are required.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical, decision-making and communication skills are required.
• 2+ years of experience in leadership or mentoring roles is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of underwriters to ensure quality outputs.
• Prepare underwriting analysis, quotes and financial projections.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to support sales and renewals.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.
• Provide subject-matter expertise on Meritain's portfolio and pricing strategies.
