You will engage with agents, evaluate risk, and price coverage using strong underwriting skills and a consultative approach.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 5 years of related professional experience in the P&C industry.
Knowledge of workers' compensation underwriting principles and regulations.
Agency and portfolio management experience; travel is required.

Responsibilities

Underwrite new and renewal workers’ compensation business.
Engage with independent agents, analyze profitable new business, and price coverage.
Mentor less experienced staff and lead cross-functional service teams.
Negotiate strategy, terms, and pricing while ensuring compliance and risk quality.
Build and maintain productive relationships to drive profitable growth.
