Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Senior Underwriter for a national remote role. You will determine pricing for various products, leverage forecast models, and build financial analyses to support pricing decisions.

You will collaborate with Sales, Proposals, and Legal teams to project pricing and profit, and assess risk across pricing guarantees. Flexibility to work shifts may be required as business needs evolve.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Experience collaborating with partners (sales, client management).
• Experience explaining pricing decisions.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (V-Lookup, Sumif).
• Ability to work any shift during 8:00 am - 5:00 pm local time, Mon-Fri.

Responsibilities

• Determine pricing for the products/services using forecast models.
• Collaborate with Sales, Proposals and Legal teams to project pricing and profit.
• Build and maintain financial models for economic analysis.
• Evaluate and recommend pricing options and plan design changes based on analyses.
• Assess the risk of pricing guarantees offered.
• Gather, summarize and analyze detailed data with an aptitude for technical skills.
