Jobs Ai is hiring an Underwriter for a fully remote role. You will evaluate and price risk across our portfolio while collaborating with claims, actuarial, and product teams to derive portfolio insights.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of underwriting experience in commercial, personal, life, or specialty lines.
• Strong analytical skills and sound risk judgement.
• Familiarity with underwriting platforms and rating systems.
• Excellent written communication and documentation of rationale.
• Working knowledge of regulatory frameworks.
• Professional CPCU/AU certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate applications and price risk according to underwriting guidelines.
• Analyse financial statements, loss runs, and supporting documentation.
• Approve, decline, or refer cases within authority limits.
• Negotiate terms with brokers, agents, or applicants.
• Maintain accurate documentation and rationale for each decision.
• Collaborate with claims, actuarial, and product teams on portfolio insights.
