Job summary

AXA XL is seeking a Senior Underwriter for Facultative Automatic Facilities in the US. The role underwrites and services automatic facility accounts, establishes pricing, and supports market leadership in North America.

You will collaborate with underwriting, actuarial, legal, and claims teams to ensure effective account handling and customer service while aligning with regulatory and rating guidelines.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience in the Reinsurance industry with emphasis on Programs, Facultative Facilities, or Commercial Property Treaty.
• Experience with policy wording, contract wording, and pricing models.
• Strong written and verbal communication, detail orientation, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and produce automatic facility accounts to achieve profitability and target premiums.
• Establish pricing for new/renewal automatic facility business by reviewing account information.
• Adhere to underwriting guidelines, regulatory and rating guidelines to ensure audit readiness.
• Maintain AXA XL relationships and coordinate with underwriting, actuarial, legal, and claims teams.
• Manage a book by reviewing endorsements and special acceptances for customer service.
• Participate in strategic planning and business development, including travel to client visits.
