Job summary

AXA XL is seeking a Senior Underwriter for Facultative Automatic Facilities in the US. You will underwrite and service automatic facility accounts, establish pricing, and ensure profitable book management while interacting with internal teams and clients.

Reporting to the Product Leader/Division Manager for Property Facultative Reinsurance - North America, you will drive growth, maintain relationships, and participate in business development activities including client visits as needed.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in reinsurance, with emphasis on Programs, Facultative Facilities, or Automatic Facility Reinsurance.
• Deep understanding of policy wording, policy rating, and pricing systems.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational, interpersonal, and written/verbal skills.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite automatic facility accounts achieving profitability and premium targets.
• Set terms and pricing for new and renewal automatic facility business.
• Adhere to underwriting guidelines and regulatory/rating guidelines to ensure audit success.
• Coordinate with underwriting, actuarial, legal, service, and claims teams to manage accounts.
