Qualifications

• Underwriting experience in Products Liability or Contractors.
• Technical knowledge of casualty and liability lines in insurance.
• Established relationships within the wholesale broker community.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Customer service-oriented mindset with focus on best-in-class service.
• Bachelor's degree preferred, with commensurate experience; CPCU/industry coursework preferred.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite new and renewal submissions within guidelines and balance growth with profitability.
• Negotiate terms and conditions aligned with coverage strategies.
• Market products through various channels and occasional business travel.
• Develop partnerships with wholesale brokers and maintain relationships.
• Monitor metrics and drive efficiency and profitability.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior staff.
• Participate in special projects and corporate initiatives.
